The centrepiece of Mode Park is a bespoke play tower inspired by the short-finned eel and the traditional eel trap nets of the First Nations people of the land. Born from a close collaborative design process, the tower’s form and materiality draw directly from this cultural narrative, delivering a landmark play experience that is as meaningful as it is adventurous. The result is a one-of-a-kind structure that demonstrates what is possible when design, culture and play come together in genuine creative partnership.
