To deliver the first and defining play structure for the Kinma Valley master planned community — a bespoke tower that roots itself in the cultural and natural story of the land from day one.
The centrepiece of Glider Park is a bespoke play tower whose form is inspired by the graceful movement of the native sugar glider through the tree canopy. Developed through a deeply collaborative design process, the curving tower and soaring slide were crafted to embody that sense of flight — allowing children to experience the glider’s sweeping descent in physical, playful form. Every design decision was considered against the deeper cultural narrative of the land, ensuring the structure carries meaning beyond its play value. The result is a tower that is as much an act of storytelling as it is of design — a landmark piece that sets the tone for everything that follows at Kinma Valley.
